Targeted Nb-Uvb And Kang Bai Ling Shuang Induced Experimental Hyperpigmentation On The Skin Of Vitiligo Brownish Guinea Pigs

OBJECTIVE:To research the experimental hyperpigmentation induced by targeted NB-UVB and kang-bai-ling shuang on the skin of brownish guinea pigs and provide clinic experimental evidence for treating vitiligo with T-UVB.METHODS:14 healthy brwnish guinea pigs were used in this experiment. We select 6×6cm2 areas on the back of each guinea pigs as shaving areas,5% hydrogen dioxide scraped on the shaving areas twice every day until turning white. We choose one model to check skin condition. After models were made successfully, choose one to conduct MED test. Each back of brwnish guinea pigs were selected 4 isolated areas A B C D, A control group,B pure targeted NB-UVB group,C pure kang-bai-ling shuang group,D combination therapy group. B,D group was treated targeted NB-UVB for 2 or 3 times a week, and the subsequent dose is determined as follows:20% increment if there is no erythema after the initial treatment, no increment of there is erythema lasting for 24 hours or more. If symptomatic erythema (burning,pain) or blistering developed, treatment was withheld until resolution. C,D group scrape kang-bai-ling shuang twice every day after targeted NB-UVB treat. Taking photos every week Efficacy was evaluated at the end of experiment via HE, Imokawa stain,Fontana-Masson stain and electronmicroscope method.RESULTS:All the guinea pigs had completed the study. Depigmentation appeared after scrape 5% hydrogen dioxide. All the treatment area appear different degree hyperpigmentation. A control area have no variation. All the 3 methods have effect of hyperpigmentation on the back of brwnish guinea pigs. Imokawa stain and Fontana-Masson stain both show there is no statistic significances between groupB and groupC &group D, but there is statistic significances between groupD and C,Combination therpy is superior to single kang bai ling shuang.
