Purpose:To explore the Chinese medicine understanding of type 2 diabetes mellitus, using the method of Yiqiyangyin Huayu to treat Qi and Yin Deficiency with congestion syndrome of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Through randomized controlled clinical trials, observeing the method of Yiqiyangyin Huayu in dealing with the blood glucose, glycated hemoglobin, blood lipids, blood rheology, and other indicators in Qi and Yin Deficiency with congestion syndrome in type 2 diabetes mellitus,.and exploring the mechanism of its prevention and treatment of this disease. Methods:A randomized parallel controlled research methods would be consistent with the patients of Qi and Yin Deficiency with congestion syndrome of type 2 diabetes mellitus, which were randomly divided into treatment group and control group. Decoction of Chinese medicine treatment is based on the Western medicine and the basic treatment in treating group, which one should receive daily a course of 3 months. Evaluation of between two groups before and after the changing ofclinical symptoms and signs, observing blood glucose, glycated hemoglobin, blood lipids, blood rheology and other indicators, as well as adverse reactions and compliance. Using SPSS 16.0 for statistical analysis. Results:Prior treatment, the gender, age, course of disease of the two groups patients had no differeces.①The total effective rate of treated roup patients was 90%; while the controlled group was 80.00%.The chinese medicine syndrome in treated group had an advantage than the controlled group(P<0.05).②FBG,PBG and glycated hemoglobin of two groups lowered(P<0.01).And the treated group had an advantage than the controlled group(P<0.05). The Hypoglycemic effect of treated roup patients was 95%; while the controlled group was 85%.③Lipid-lowering effects:in the treated group patients'TC,TQLDL-C had a lowering and HDL-C had marked increase(P<0.01), whild the situation is the same in controlled group, howere the TQLDL-C haven't significant difference.④After treatment, the whole blood viscosity (highly cuts, middlely cuts, lowly cuts) and the blood plasma viscosity of the treated group droped. The whole blood viscosity (middlely cuts) and the blood plasma viscosity of the controlled group droped. The dropping of whole blood viscosity (middlely cuts) between treated group and controlled group had a difference (P<0.05), the drop level of blood plasma viscosity between the two groups had obvious difference(P<0.05).⑤Safety index:Both groups are no adverse reactions. Conclusion:Preliminary clinical studies shows that western medicine combined the method of Yiqiyangyin Huayu is better than western medicine only, Chinese medicine does improve the clinical symptoms of type 2 diabetes mellitus patients in lowering blood glucose, glycated hemoglobin, regulate blood lipids, but also improve the blood rheology, and is safe, effective and has a broad application prospects.
