Effects Of Thoracic Epidural Anesthesia On Endo Thelin In General Anesthesia: A Meta-analysis

Objective:To study the effect of epidural anesthesia(TEA) in general anesthesia on plasma endothelin(ET) impact. Discussion of thoracic epidural anesthesia in the intraoperative anesthesia on myocardial protection for its clinical application and promotion of reference.Methods:We searched Chinese journal database,wanfang, Vip, Pubmed, EMCC,and manual search of thoracic epidural anesthesia and endothelin related literature,develop inclusion and exclusion criteria,screening literature. We collect information documents, tabulation,evaluation of the quality of the literature,Using standard statistical literature jadad score of endothelin volume changes.The measurement data feed using weighted mean difference(WMD) and 95% confidence interval indicated.Statistical analysis was performed, using RevMan4.2.2.analysis of its bias,and heterogeneity.Result A total of 313 cases in 9 trials were accordant with the conditions of analysis.There is lower serum concentrations of ET [WMD,-210.41,95% (-22.80,-18.03)] in the patients randomized to receive thoracic epidural anesthesia combined with general anesthesia compared with those to receive general anesthesia. Heterogeneity test p=0.10,No heterogeneity using fixed effect model. Conclusion It is found that thoracic epidural anesthesia can significantly reduce the endothelin levels of patients in general anesthesia.
