Expression And Significance Of CD147,MMP-3 TIMP-2 In Cervical Carcinoma

Objective:To detect the expression of CD147,MMP-3 and TIMP-2 in cervical carcinoma tissues and further to explore the correlation between their expression and the cervical carcinomas' the invasion and meatastasis. Methods: The expression of CD147,MMP-3 and TIMP-2 were examined with inmunohistochemical technique (S-P) in the specmies from 50 cases of cervical carcinoma and 30 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and 10 cases of cervical epithelium(which was control group). Results:â‘ The positive rates of CD147 were 10.0%,66.67%,82.00% in cervical epithelium?CIN?cervical carcinoma respectively. the percentage of positive CD147 were higher in cervical carcinoma and CIN than that in the cervical epithelium(P<0.05).â‘¡The positive rates of MMP-3 were 20.00%,83.33%,86.00% in cervical epithelium?CIN?cervical carcinoma respectively.the percentage of positive MMP-3 in cervical carcinoma and in CIN were higher in cervical epithelium(P<0.05).â‘¢The positive rates of TIMP-2 were 70.00%,70.00%,76.00%in cervical epithelium ? CIN ? cervical carcinoma respectively.there were not significant in these there groups(P>0.05).the percentage of positive TIMP-2 was extremely significant in CINâ… ,â…¡,â…¢(P<0.01).â‘£The expression of CD147 and MMP-3 were correlated with the differentiation of tumor cells and lymph nodemetastasis(P<0.05), the expression of TIMP-2 was only correlated with lymph nodemetastasis(P<0.05), but they all not with the age, the nationality and tumour size(P>0.05).The expression of CD147 was positively correlated with the expression of MMP-3 in cervical carcinoma (r=0.441, P<0.01).The percentage of positive MMP-3/ TIMP-2 was higher than that in the cervical epithelium, and MMP-3/TIMP-2 was increasingly in CINâ… ,â…¡,â…¢(P<0.05). Conclusions:The expression of CD147 was positively related to that of MMP-3,the disequilibrium of MMP-3/TIMP-2 was to progress the cervical carcinoma to happen and to develop.CD147,MMP-3 along with TIMP-2 could be potential indexes of evaluating invasion and metastasis of cervical carcinoma.
