The Study Of Sentence With Dual Gender Element In Xunshipinghua

XunShipinghua, the outstanding Chinese textbook for Korean in the early stage of Ming dynasty, is adopted as the language material to study sentence with dual gender element in this paper. Such methods are adopted to describe the sentence with dual gender element such as diachronic study, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. I hope this paper is valuable for the study on history of Chinese language.In Chapter One I introduced the author, the context; literary style of the language of XunShipinghua. Its value as corpus and spoken language features are explained with great emphasis.In Chapter Two the research, especially the modern research of sentence with dual gender element is commented. The development of it can be divided roughly into three phases;predecessors'research productions are cited diaconal. I put forward a new perspective of the definition, judging and classifying of sentence with dual gender element.I discussed the 48 verbs"V1", classified them into 4kinds and analyzed the syntactic, semantic and pragmatic structure of sentence with dual gender element in XunShipinghua, the omitting of sentence with dual gender element in some sentences, the using of pronouns as sentence with dual gender element in it.In Chapter five and six, I analyzed all of the instances exhaustively and found that the dual gender element was constituted of none and pronoun. And I also analyzed the constituent behind the dual gender element and found that it includes adverbial phrases, objects, but without complement.
