On Bei Feiyu's Novel Creation

In recent years, Bi Feiyu is famous in Chinese contemporary literary world for his exquisite short stories and he is known as: "The best male writer who describes women's mind." His works with remarkable characteristics of human attracted many researchers. Since mid-1980s, he involved in novels so far, Bi Feiyu has created nearly 20 years, his works has been over one hundred. After two important changes in creation and eventually he becomes a mature writer. In this paper, based on boning up on the test of the Bi Feiyu's novels, (including the collection of short stories ), conducting a whole comb on the evolution of Bi Feiyu's literary creation , exploring the boundless pain exists in his novel world; the philosophical thinking in the test; vividly portray of the World; the critique and deconstruction of human nature deeply. Trying to find the most flash point in his work and to find the softest place touching your heart, which Bi Feiyu has been searching for - "good" seeds in human nature.Bi Feiyu's creation can be divided into three stages: avant-garde literature's starting point on questioning history; secular portray of "city life", and the realistic perspective and critique of human nature. Each stage shows Bi Feiyu's developing and distinctive vision and writing angle. Although Bi Feiyu's novels always bring people indescribable depression and pain, it just is the most realistic internal representation of the real world. Irresistible historical destiny, helpless flounders on the subsistence difficulty, human nature dissimilation under power and desire, all of which form the siege of the "pain", surrounding small individual in big world. It lets us feel frustration of exsiting and pain of living.For this painful world, Bi Feiyu is resentment. Abnormal human nature surging in "ghost culture" ,"special history", "materialistic society" which is deconstructed and criticized trenchantly by Bi Feiyu . However, Bi Feiyu is filled with big love and pity or compassion for the vulnerable groups and ordinary people who existing in painful world. For the Bi Feiyu's works, previous researchers have bouquets and brickbats, also misconceptions. This paper have a deeply analysis of their works, at the same time, also expressing my several views on their misunderstandings. I hope to do my humble part for leading more literature lovers to be interested in Bi Feiyu and his works and having more attention and thinking.
