This paper takes the college students in major colleges and universities in Fuzhou City as objects of study, using the revised state-trait guilt scale to make a survey of college students'state guilt and trait guilt, in order to rich the empirical studies of guilt in China. At the same time, this paper inspects and analyzes the relationship among college students'attribution style, personality characteristics and guilt, providing a new way of thinking to discuss guilt feeling of college students. As the importance of guilt to moral internalization, this paper also makes an exploration on college students'moral education. The results of this study show that:1. College students'state-strait guilt scale has two dimensions, that is, state guilt and trait guilt. It has good reliability and validity, which can be used as a measurement tool for college students'guilt.2. Guilt has significant differences in grade and major. The trait guilt of junior students is significantly higher than that of freshmen and sophomore students. As to state guilt and strait guilt, students of arts are significantly higher than students of other disciplines.3. College students'Extraversion and Neuroticism are different in gender; College students'Psychosomatic, Extraversion and Dissimulation are notably diverse whether he or she is one child; Psychosomatic is diverse in location, the score of college students of psychosomatic decreases among big cities, small towns and rural area. College students' Psychosomatic, Extraversion, Neuroticism and Dissimulation differ in professions, that is, college students of different subjects have different scores.4. Whether achievement attribution or interpersonal attribution, college students are most likely inclined to endeavor. And for academic failure and interpersonal failure attribution, college students are most likely inclined to endeavor and ability.5. College students'achievement attribution differs in grade and profession. As for academic ability, academic situation, academic inter attribution and academic failure attribution, students of arts are remarkable higher than students of other disciplines. As for the attribution of assignment difficulty, there is interaction between grade and profession. Concerning interpersonal attribution, sophomore students show more inter attribution than students of other grades. They also show more failure attribution inclination than senior students.6. Neurotic personality trait has significant prediction in state guilt and strait guilt. Academic situation, academic endeavor and interpersonal success have significant prediction in state guilt. Interpersonal failure and academic failure have significant prediction in trait guilt. Academic failure, academic endeavor and interpersonal failure have significant prediction in neurotic personality trait.7. The path analysis shows that:interpersonal situation, academic failure and interpersonal failure inclination can directly predict state guilt; academic situation, academic failure and interpersonal failure can predict state guilt through Neurotic personality. The attribution styles of interpersonal introversion and interpersonal failure can directly predict trait guilt; academic situation, academic failure and interpersonal failure can predict trait guilt through Neurotic personality.
