A Study On The Structural Auxiliary And The Related Syntactic Constituent Of Them In Xuancheng Dialect

The research on Xuancheng dialect is very seldom. This dissertation mainly focuses on the study of structural auxiliary "çš„""å¾—" in Xuancheng dialect, analyzes the grammaticalization of them and also refers to the related syntactic constituent of them. The dissertation based on "Surface-Meaning-Value", "mandarin-Dialect-Ancient Chinese" and diachronic comparisons as its basic studying approach. It concentrates on the contrast to other auxiliary in neighborhood dialect and the auxiliary in ancient Chinese so as to know better about the pattern of "çš„,å¾—" Meanwhile, it intends to adopt methodology of cognitive linguistics to analyze the certain grammatical features of "çš„,å¾—". I hope this dissertation could provide valuable references for if there is the same expression as Wu dialect in Xuancheng dialect and give linguistic data for analysis the grammaticalization of "çš„,å¾—"This dissertation has four chapters.Chapter1, Introduction, it is about general situation of Xuancheng and Xuancheng dialect, the theoretical background, methodology of research and the conclusion.Chapter2 mainly discusses the grammatical features of structural auxiliary "çš„" and the relevant grammatical features of the related syntactic constituent of "çš„"as well. Then it refers to the original form of "çš„".Chapter3 mainly discusses the grammatical features of structural auxiliary "å¾—" and the relevant grammatical features of the related syntactic constituent of "å¾—"as well. Then it refers to the original form of "å¾—" and the grammaticalization of "å¾—"Chapter4 concentrates on the contrast to the auxiliary of mandarin and the conclusion.
