A Research On The Relationship Between Self-Differentiation And Psychological Reactnace Of High School Students

The adolescence is the most important period in one's life and self-differentiation is one of the major tasks. As we all know, when the junior is growing up, both their physiology and psychology are unbalanced. The paper is finding out the self-differentiation level of them, and discussing it with the factor of psychological reactance in young people who are in adolescence. This research has selected 408 high school students from five different grades, using t-test and variance analysis to discuss the differences of demography variable about high school students' self-differentiation, and using correlation analysis and multivariate regression analysis to examine the relationship between self-differentiation and the psychological reactance. Conclusions of this study are as below:(1) The average level of the high school students'self-differentiation is below the normal range,however, the average of Emotional Reactivity is close to average 3.5 points.(2) There is significant difference in factor of the I-Position in high school students'self-differentiation. Male students score is obviously higher than female in the I-Position.And there is no significantly difference in the scores got by different grade students.(3) The average level of high school student's psychological reactance is in the normal range,and there is no significantly difference in scores got by different grade students.(4) The relationship between self-differentiation and psychological reactance of high school students is significant negative correlation.
