| The phenomenon that the college grads have difficulty finding a job attracts great concern of the society. As a result of college enrollment expansion, the number of students applying for musical major has grown rapidly and the musical education in higher normal colleges is also promoted. Due to the enrollment expansion, the number of graduates is booming, which has become the potential problem for the employment after graduation. Lack of position, traditional teaching methods and impractical curriculum aggravate the matter. Students are very blind and passive when studying and job hunting, for they themselves know little about the employment situation and cannot shape right values. In addition, graduates majoring higher college musical education are facing more severe situation because they are less demanded and are not recognized by the society on account of the major's particularity. The present writer suggests that it is a matter of great urgency to focus on the employment problems of the musical education graduates from normal universities.Using the method of literature, questionnaire and mathematical statistics and taking three provinces in the northeast as the research subject, the present paper made systematic analysis on the current employment situation faced by the musical education graduates from normal universities. Through the analysis of the employment situation and the related policies, the researcher deeply explored the four aspects which influenced the employment of the musical education graduates from normal universities—university, society, government, and students. Furthermore, the internal causes of low employment rate were probed and some suggestions were put forward about the policies, employment market, curriculum, vocation guidance, students'learning initiative and student's employment notions. Finally, the present researcher predicted the tendency of musical education students'development and employment in the next five years. This paper aimed to offer reference for university, society, government, and students so that it may draw all the departments'attention on this social problem, which must promote the reform and development of musical education, perfect our employment policies, balance between supply and demand and make our society develop harmoniously in an all-round way. |
