Family ethic is not only the criterion and guild line to harmonize the relationship of the family members, but also the important assurance to maintain a harmonious family, is the mark of the Socialist Spiritual Civilization, relation with the harmony of the family and the social stability. At present, china is in the period of social transition when family ethics is got an unprecedent strick and has new problems. So, in the new period the consolidating the building of family ethics is of great significance.This thesis is based on chinese and western family ethic, and analysis the problem and reason of the area of the family ethics. Be use of the methods of the theoretical study and practical application, and propose the main countermeasure about the building of the family ethics in the new period. About the theory expounded of the family ethics, it focuses on the ideas that Chinese Traditional Family Ethics, Family Ethics of Max and Engels and Ethics of Socislism. About the analysis of the present situation and reason in the constrution of the family ethics. The part is the difficult point of the thesis. Firstly it generalizes the results of the building of the family ethics, explores problems of the construction of the family ethics and analysis the reason. At last, this paper proposes emphasisly the construction of the family ethic. It discusses the content and the countermeasure of the building of the family ethics. The measurs include: improving the market economy, strengthening the legal system, inherit traditional culture, strengthening school, social, family education. These not only promote the building, enrich the meaning of the family ethics, but also achieve the comprehensive and strengthen the effect of the family ethics education.
