| Fredric Jameson is one of the most influential Marxist theorists in the contemporary Western countries. With the appearance of globalization in the world scope, people are more and more interested in it and Jameson also shows his great concern, because he is a person who pays close attention to the real world.Jameson contacts globalization with the expansion of late capitalism, with the former being the substantive characteristics of transnational capitalism. In the process of globalization, Jameson thinks the genuine problem is standardization of world culture, this is mainly Americanization. Americanization is the cultural imperialism in the globalization.
