| Abstract:Kant divided the thing-in-itself and the phenomenon, this division had caused revolutionary reform in the field of moral philosophy. He believed that if the moral philosophy's motivation just comes from the phenomenon (such as utility, pleasure, happiness, desire and satisfaction, etc.) our ethics can only be a temporary solution. The real moral principles must be universal, absolute. And when the moral principle decides our motives, we can become a moral person. Human has the good by nature, so only through the moral education, the ability of human reason is unearthed. When the rational law directly decides the motivation of people, the good will come into being. Only in this way, human as rational being reflects the people's dignity and value. |
