Performance Analysis Opera Quartet Of "Regret For The Past"

Opera is a kind of art which biends music, drama, literature,art,and it regards singing as its main performance art .By Wang Quan,Han Wei Authors,Shi Guangnan opera composer,"Regret for the past"was adapted based on the same name novel by Mr. Lu Xun,in 1981,to commemorate the 1st centenary of Mr.Lu Xun's birth. As Mr.Shi consistent style,"Regret for the past"Smooth and beautiful melody, sung all the play draws on Western-type form of opera, as music played provided a broad world. Successfully shaped as Lu Xun created a successful pursuit of freedom, but easy to shake, weakness, loss of educated youth image.In October of same year, this opera was firstly played by Chinese Opera and Dance Drama Theater. The staging of this opera made a great impact in the China music industry, Famous singer Yin Xiumei, Cheng Zhi, Liu Yue, Guan Mucun performances and works perfect match, leaving the audience very impressed, more than two decades has maintained its unique artistic charm.It is the first lyric psychological opera in our country and it has the enormous significance to the innovation work in the Chinese national opera.With great and immortal art value, the opera has become one focus to lots of singers and music researchers.Although we often read introduction about this poera and singing reminding in media like newspaper, magazine, and website, we rarely see specific studying about role character, singing style in this opera, and there's no studing system about the Quartet. The forms of art is indispensable as an important part not only to express emotional elements of arias,but also the effectivenes of drama development . This form of art in opera can cooperate with each other and it has common expression of emtion, creating a unified image of the music,it could be personalized by different expressions of the melody of their respective opposed monologue or dramatic contradiction.The study of the Quartet t art in the opera"Regret for the past"has great significance to the search into the whole picture and the art features of the opera. For the love to this opera, with reference to the former researcher's work, Using music analysis method,this article make a general analyze about the music structure and Quartet ,grasping the development of the vocal forms in opera,I described the selection of the development of ensemble poera, the performance of the Quartet forms of art in opera .its rich expression studies in order to explore its unique artistic value.Deepen understanding and awareness of it ,for better interpretation of the hero and heroine to provide specific the oretical basis.This article is divided to four chapter . Chapter I: Analyze the opera"Regret for the past"creative background, the performance overview ,the story outline and music features. ChapterII: Introduces the development of Quartet and the role of plot development. ChapterIII:From the tonal layout,organization structre and voice processing aspect to analyze Quartet . ChapterIV: from five aspects, to analysis the performance of Quartet. Conclusion part of the arctic briefly summarizes the main arguments, and indicates the practical value of the thesis.In such charming duet with music works , in my possession vocal skills,from the high art of music closer to its experience,I hope this study can give some enlightenment to the singer, bring the audience to feel the United States.
