Role-Significance Of Drama-in-Education To Music Education

The thesis highlights the role of Drama-in-Education, and employs the documentary method and analytical method; from the perspective of educational philosophy, psychology and sociology, the thesis attempts to explore the possibility and feasibility of role in music education to personality development, and aims to open a new window to music education in China and enrich the theory and practice of music education.The thesis falls into 4 chapters:The introduction briefly reviews topic selection, research significance and research methods, and overviews the achievements and current status in the research of music education, role and drama-in-education. Chapter 1 defines the term of music education, role and drama-in-education, and explores the connotation of music education and drama-in-education, thus building the theoretical basis for this paper.Chapter 2 mainly analyses the role in music education, discusses the existence of role, the significance of role to music, and the role awareness in the activities of music education.Chapter 3 analyses the role in music education. From Li Jin-hui Children music opera and some other musical works, the thesis illuminates the significance of the roles, and personality cultivation of the roles in music education. With this, the thesis explores the feasibility and significance of role to music education. Chapter 4 concludes this thesis. Based on role analysis of music works in Chapter 3, the thesis summarizes the significance of role in shaping the personality in music education, and its effect and meaning to music education; and proposes suggestions and expectation.Significance: through this thesis, the author expects more education practitioners to be aware of and to practice the role in music education; through the role awareness in music education, personality will be cultivated in all rounds, and the music education practice will be further advanced and optimized.
