A Study On The Transferred-designations Of Predicates To Zhuangzi

As a book of the pre-qin times, application of language in Zhuangzi is different in addition to the literary value. There are many words which belongs to transferred-designations of predicates. The modern scholars are focus on transferred-designations of predicates in modern Chinese, but they ignore research of transferred-designations of predicates in ancient Chinese. So the research which refers to transferred-designations of predicates in Zhuangzi is valuable to the research of the pre-qin times and other times.There are three parts In this article. The first section not only describes the concept and improved process of theory about transferred-designations, but also refers to stage of transferred-designations of predicates. The second part which is constituted by three chapters principally analysis all kinds of transferred-designations of predicates, it is divided into the transferred-designations which has a concrete form mark "zhe" or "suo" and transferred-designations which has no form mark. In three chapters, we mainly use a series of forms to turn to the objects and type semantics of transferred-designations. According to the need of specific sections we choose different classifications and the standards to reach transferred-designations of predicates, so as to detailed description. We explain the means of "zhe" "suo" "suoyi" and so on. We describe classification by the general and special usages about transferred-designations of predicates in order to detain a certain conclusion. The objects are constituted by persons and things and the other. The major semantic types are constituted by seven species, namely the matter, the lords, the premises, the situation, the tool, the reason and the place. Besides the above seven types, there are other types such as "yushi" and "xishi". In the third part we mainly explain the reasons why transferred-designations of predicates can exist from the angles which refer to development of words and the cognitive psychology.We think that the express of language and the arable are important reasons of transferred-designations of predicatesSome words which reflect "taoist" is often used to transfer based on the special language and the philosophies which author believes in. Some rhetoric phenomenons are also very much, it shows the uniqueness of transferred-designations of predicates in Zhuangzi.
