Everyone has the interpersonal and communicative needs in life. To be accompanied by these needs, there will be interpersonal friction, conflicts and disputes. With the development of China's economy and overall national development, the amount of social disputes is increasing dramatically. And this fact has been paid attention seriously by researchers. After Hyde(1958) proposed his theory about attribution, researchers have taken effort on the growing object, depth and breadth of this theme. These years, Researchers are attaching importance to some specific field about attribution.Based on the analysis of relevant domestic and overseas literature about disputes and attribution theories, this research combines an investigative questionnaire, psychological scales, semi-structured interviews, in order to explore the special group of people, community disputes crowd, via psychological attribution angle. It is intended to study the attribution features of community disputes crowd, look forward to forecast the possibility of disputes and provide effective advice. The entire dissertation is made up of three parts:the first part is the review of literature, the second part is the main study, and the third part is the results and advice.Part One, the development and history of disputes and attribution are briefly reviewed. It is especially elaborated how and why to channel community disputes into attribution.Part Two, it combines qualitative and quantitative researches. General information of community disputes crowd is obtained via this questionnaire. MMSC is used to analyze the level of 133 community disputes individuals'attribution by four dimensionalities. They are ability, effort, situation and fortune. It is found that the different crowd shows significant diversity in various dimensionalities of attribution. 6 community disputes individuals are selected to take a semi-structured interview. Based on the results of interview and comprehensive code analysis, the results show that different age and gender individuals needs different approaches to reconciliation and the need tends to be specialized.Part Three, it summarizes the results of this dissertation. It is found that:(1) The ability dimension of male was significantly higher than the female's, no significant difference in other dimensions.(2) The ability and situation dimensions of the disputes individuals were significantly higher than people without a dispute, no significant difference in other dimensions.(3) Individuals with different age and gender need different approaches to reconciliation, and the needs tend to be specialized.Meanwhile, the study provides professional advices for disputes individuals and professional organizations so as to predict the occurrence of disputes and improve the community dispute resolution more scientifically.
