| Caozhi was a most remarkable writer of the literature during Jian-an Period in the three Kingdoms. This outstanding writer is given full attentions from of old, and his works has also been adequately studied mainly from the aspects of his life, thoughts, personality, poetry, Ci Fu, and prose, as well as the comprehensive evaluation. Although there are some researches on allusions in his works, they are very superficial relatively. Therefore, this paper will give a comprehensive and systematic research according to the allusions in Caozhi's works.This thesis contains four parts:The first chapter is introduction. This part is a generalization on the paper's research purpose, meaning, background, as well as the research waysThe second chapter is to look for the origins of the literary allusions in Caozhi' works, and classify them. Generally speaking, the origins are very extensive. Taking the traditional classics for example, there are more than 280 allusions from classics, over 140 from history, more than 120 from philosophy, and over 30 allusions from literature. Moreover, from the perspective of theme, there are more than 120 allusions in poetry, more than 110 allusions in Ci Fu, and over 350 allusions in the prose. Based on the analysis above, this paper explores the reason why so many allusions were used in Caozhi's works. As to be known, there are affair allusions and utterance allusions. And this paper is to explore and analyze the affair allusions in Caozhi's works.The third chapter is to analyze the characteristic of the allusion in Caozhi's works from several aspects including the characteristics of the language forms, the characteristic of righteousness-taking and the characteristic of aesthetics.The forth chapter is to study his personality and ideological tendencies from the allusions, and explore his personality from the allusions quoted from the traditional classics in his works. There are extensive allusions in Caozhi's works, over 400 are of Confucian colorific, including jinbu and shibu with the number of 280 and 120 respectively. In addition, the Taoist colorific allusions are about 30, the distribution is as follows:one in , more than 20 in'chuang-tsz', seven in "liexianzhuan", five in "shenxianzhuan". Therefore, the conclusion can be given that Caozhi's dominant thought is Confucianism comparing with the Taoist. |
