The Study On Peony Decorative Of The Song Celadon

The Song dynasty in china ceramics history is a prolific period, with multifarious varieties and famous kilns spreaded all over china, Celadon is still the major varieties in this period,including the Ru kiln, the Official kiln, the Ge kiln, Yao state kiln , the dragon sping kiln and Jing de town kiln are the most representatively porcelain in the song dynasty . The peony grains decorated on the celadons as the most representatively traditional patterns decorated on the porcelain, its artistic style and aesthetic characteristics reflects the spirit and aesthetic pursuit of Song dynasty perfectly.In this paper, the peony grains decorated on the celadons of sony danasty as the main clues to the study, for the current pattern of the ceramic peony relatively weak, and combined with lots of related literatures and pictures material, using history, image and aesthetic research methods, according to collect and organize the peony grains of song dynasty, concludes its decorative characteristics and aesthetic features. Meantime, I study its society background, cultural background, aesthetic background and explore its real artistic value and cultural value. The subject is studied in order to supplement the Theory on the celadon peony grain of song dynasty ,and is useful to innovation to Chinese ceramic decoration design.
