Influence Of Violence Causes On The High Or Low Moral Judgments Youngsters' Implicit Aggression

According to Anderson's General Aggression Model(GAM),both media violence and the individual variables can affect the individual's current state turough three routes---congnition,emotion and physiological arrousal.As to be aroused automatically and not to be contralled, implicit aggression is influenced by media violence and the individual variables.The main puprose of this research was to examine the effects of violence causes on high or low moral judgment ability youngsters'implicit aggression.In this research, violence causes were divided into help ohers, for personal gain, self-defense, revenge for others, to illustrate the same animated scene;and we want to know weather the implicit aggression were different between high and low moral judgment ability youngsters',between grade 7 and 8. The thesis consists of two experiments:Experiment 1:the same violent cartoon with different violence causes as priming stimulates,discuss their affects on yongers'implict aggression, and the differences between grades, gender. The results are as follows:1 After watching violent cartoon with different violence causes,youngsters'implicit aggression had a significant grade difference, the eighth grade higher than the seventh grade.2 After watching violent cartoon with different violence causes,eighth grader' implicit aggression had a significant gender difference, boys higher than girls.3 Violence causes had a significant grade difference on youngsters'implicit aggression. Passive higher than positive and active causes to seventh grade's implicit body aggression; positive and passive cause higher than negative and active to eighth grade's implicit body aggression; active and passive cause higher than positive and active to youngsters implicit implicit verbal aggression.Experiment 2:the same violent cartoon with different violence causes as priming stimulates, discuss their affects on high or low moral judgment ability youngsters' implicit aggression, and the differences between grades, gender. The results are as follows:1 Influences of violence causes on low moral judgment ability youngsters'implicit aggression were significant. Active and passive cause higher than others; negative and active violence cause higher to low moral judgment ability youngsters of grade 8.2 Influences of violence causes on high moral judgment ability youngsters'implicit aggression were not significant.Those two experiments above showed:violence causes of violent cartoon bring effects on youngsters'implicit aggression.
