The Research On Bereaved School During Nanjing National Government

Military pension has a long history in China which is accompanied by the emergence of the armed forces. At the end of primitive society, in order to compete for the properties, there has been military violence and the thought of pension began to germinate. At the period of the slave society, the feudal states compete for hegemony. The war promotes the development of military pension system. In feudal society, especially the Song Dynasty, with the implementation of the enlisting system which makes the soldiers a professional job, but also makes the enlisting system in ancient China enter a new historical period. At the period of Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, on the basis of the former special care system, pension system has improved further and gradually standardized.Since the establishment of the Republic of China, successive governments have proclaimed a lot of pension statutes and regulations. Sun Yat-sen also has his own opinion of pension. Nanjing provisional government founded an orphanage. In 1929, in order to comfort those who sacrificed for the revolutionary martyrs, Nanjing National Revolutionary Army Bereaved School was established, and it is a military pension system in essence. With the development of the school, the girl school was founded.however, when the war of resistance against Japan broke out, the school was forced to close down and migrate into the rear area. We got a victory of anti-Japanese war in 1945. In 1947, Nanjing National Revolutionary Army Bereaved School began again and the Bereaved school of anti-Japanese war was founded in Suzhou. Since 1949, with the rout of Kuomintang, the school was forced to migrate.Until 1953, the last group of students graduated; the school finally completed her mission.This article attempts to discuss the school in the following five aspects in detail. Firstly, through the review of the development of the pension system, the special care system of Sun Yat-sen and the establishment of orphanage, it analyzes the background and purpose of the establishment of Nanjing National Revolutionary Army Bereaved School. Secondly, it aims at revealing the development of school mainly through the growth of student resource, the school site selection and the educational principles. Thirdly, it gives an analysis of the efforts Song Meiling made to the school on the basis of her growth background of and describes the reasons for the establishment of the girl school and the overview. In the fourth part, it elaborates the recalibration of Nanjing National revolutionary Army bereaved boy school after the victory of the anti-Japan war and the establishment of bereaved school in Suzhou, also discusses the guiding principles for running a school and campus life. Finally, it analyses the operation of fee of the school, as well as the school management and administration of the school organizations.It is necessary to study the influence of the school. The establishment of the school is good for the growth of the orphans and the promotion of the stabilization of the political power. It also plays positive and exemplary roles in the country which is good for the mental growth of the students and makes the orphans live a good life. However, it is small in scale existing as a political tool to some extent for propaganda which still has an impact on the shape of their character.
