As the research object, The Grass Grown In Desert Weekly will be cut into from the background of the times and human environment. This paper is trying to explore that The Grass Grown In Desert Weekly how to launch, orientate, develop and disintegrate, containing internal research and external research. The internal research stresses the advocates of spirit Zhou Zuoren, the main editor and author Fei Ming and Feng Zhi, analyzing the works published in The Grass Grown In Desert Weekly and the relationship between the journal and literary views. Based on the research, this paper shows the process of mentality from the twenties to the thirties in the twentieth century. The external study focuses on the relations and the reasons of disintegration about The Grass Grown In Desert Weekly, which will be integrated into the development process of modern Chinese literature. Thus the significance of journals in the literary history has been explored. The latter is expanded from two respects: First, as a representative journal of the Early Beijing School, The Grass Grown In Desert Weekly has influence on the Beijing School Literature.
