| Chant is a traditional Chinese way of reading the ancient poetry. Chant, which is a combination of music, linguistics and literature, is a treasure of Chinese traditional culture. Since the disappearance of the private school and new school start in modern times, chanting gradually fade away people's lives, even in endangered now. Rescue and transmission of chant are of great urgency. It is gratifying that in recent years, a new development is taking place quietly in Inheritance of chant, especially "Beijing Traditional Music Festival" and "Chinese recited week", and National Social Science Foundation major research project "The Record, Collate and Research of Chant". These large-scale activities have played a very active role in Inheritance of chanting, but unfortunately there is few research activities focus on transmission of the chanting. What is the situation of chanting inheritance in the present school education? What is the musical character of chanting? With these questions, the author sort out the concept of chanting, taking chant musical relevant literature and practice of chanting inheritance in The Chant Community of a primary school in Beijing, a secondary school and three universities as the research object, using literature studies, surveys and interviews and other methods research.The framework of this article is as follow, chapter one is preface, including Issues, project source, topic based. Chapter two is carding the concept of chanting and the music character of chanting. In chapter three, the author takes Gokokuji Primary School and Jingshan High School, the only two Chanting Experimental Schools, and three representative chanting Associations in Students Chanting Associations Union as example to research with a combination of questionnaires and interviews. Chapter four is the thinking of research result.The aim of this paper is through research of chanting concept and musical character and survey of chanting heritage education in schools, thinking how to recite in school heritage, thus promoting the heritage and development of chant. |
