| As we known, people's life could not without communication. For a long time past, the studies about communication focus on the language communication have been acquired a lot of achievements. In my opinion, however, these studies do not in detail for the language communication include two types, which are phonetic communication and literal communication, and they have many differences between each other. With the development of the society and the frequentation of people's communication, literal communication is more and more important, yet, the study still rest on the initial stage. In view of this situation, we clarify out literal communication from language communication, and on the basis of quantities of examples to summarize the general law of literal communication, which we want to give a favor to the literal users. Moreover, the clarification of language communication is good for the deep language communication theory.The whole paper is divided into eight parts. The first part is introduction. In this part, we define the characters and communication, and declare the relationship of them. Meanwhile, we will also present the state of the field and study meaning of literal communication. In the second part, we will discuss the relationship of literal communication and phonetic communication. In the third part, we will talk about the types and range of application of literal communication, and the main work is on the characters and suitable occasion of each type. The forth part is the focal point of the text, the process of literal communication, which comprises the way of information transmission, the rule of communication and the factor of influence in the process of literal communication. The fifth part, we will recommend the common form of literal communication. The sixth part is to provide the supplementary means of literal communication. The seventh part is to provide the merits and drawbacks of literal communication. The last part is the conclusion of the whole text. |
