Russian Dialect And Its Translation Studies

Dialect, as one of the essentials of a national language, it carries people's impressions, experiences and feelings of life, society and culture in specific area, reflects their cognitive style and unique world view. Through dialect we can understand the one country's folk and culture. Many writings and reportage, which based on working life in country, often use local dialect to portray environments and characters. Only by fully understanding the meaning of those dialects and their background, we can translate the Russian writing correctly. Studying Russian dialect can not only help us to understand the standard Russian, bur also help us to have an all-sided understanding of the whole Russian . Moreover, an increasing number of experts and scholars put more attention on dialect. Now, the studying of English dialect has become a trend in China, which reached a small climax and got a lot of results. But the studying of Russian dialect is dropped far behind. However, these Russian dialect researches are mostly related to the dialect itself, rather than from the point of translation. Therefore, it is necessary to study Russian dialect systematically and combine it with translation, which is consistent with the current trend of academic development.This paper, firstly, applied induction, comparison and summarization research methods, synthesized studies on dialects of Chinese, English and Russian, expounded the dialect, which covers the destination, classification and characteristic of dialect and its relationship with standard language, to make clear the feature of Russian dialect. Followed that, studied dialect combining with translation. Dialects in literature usually bring great challenges to translators, because in writings, these elements not only convey a certain literal meaning, but also have important stylistic function and unique artistic effect, so the method of dialect translation, which translator chose in practice, often led to some controversy. By carefully summarizing, this paper analyzed the existing three dialect translation tropism, analyzed the feasibility and limitation of these three methods. Finally, from a new perspective function and pragmatics, author explored the methods of Russian dialect translation, combining translations of Russian writing in the process, attempted to classify the specific methods of Russian dialect translation, in order to increase the guidance role of translation strategy.
