| What is presented here is a study of the acquisition of complex Chinese sentences viewed at a new angle梚n a tentative maimer both theoretically and practically. Benefited from the achievements in the research of complex Chinese sentences and the acquisition of a second language, a close examination of the acquisition process of concessive complex Chinese sentences by foreign students has been made and analyzed. The methods used are the cross-sectional studies, the individual case study, the community comparison, and error analysis. The fundamental characteristics of the acquisition process are thus described and interpreted. To contribute to the Chinese teaching as a foreign language, a new approach towards the tuition of the concessive complex sentences has been designed, in consideration of the aim, principle and methods of the tuition involved. |
