A Tentative Analysis Of Common Errors In Oral English From The Perspective Of Phonetics

The study of phonetics is relatively an old branch of learning. It is closely related to the study of spoken language. The purpose of the analysis of common errors in Oral English from the perspective of phonetics is to avoid or to reduce the possible errors in oral English. It is necessarytohiaenknowledge of phonetics theory in order to achieve the purpose. This paper gives a comparison between Chinese and English from speech sounds and intonation. Based on the comparison, this paper also puts forward some ways to overcome the errors made by Chinese learners.
