On Ambiguity

The ambiguity is an old issue which has not been settled properly, it has been studying by the psychologists, the logicians and the linguistics for many years. In modern information society, the studies of ambiguity gain some new theoretical and practical value,especially in the inter course between human beings and computers and the informative processing of language and words.We base our arguments on the advantages and faults of previous studies, we discuss it form four facets ,that is ,the definite, types and qualifications, the means of analysis, cognition, we analyze the ambiguity by the means of Chomsky's transformational generative grammar . And on these bases ,we form ourselves views about ambiguity. For the subjective and objective reasons ,we only select those important facets in this field to discuss rather than all , although this research paper is entitled On Ambiguity.
