This group embodies the common characteristics of the whole country in a morbid society and reflects the way of life, interpersonal relation and people* s value and fates of the Chinese during that times. The "onlooker" effects they have formed make morale hard to agglomerate or to summon up their courage. They are the strongest obstruction to the "person in a real sense" cause."Summary" : describes the use of multiple artistic means in Lu Xun' s portrayal of characters. Realism is Lu Xun' s main creative means, but Lu Xun creatively employs other means of representation for the sake of artistic representation.
