Aesthetics In Anti-Aesthetics

Content: The article comprises of six parts, including introductory remarks, leading philosophical thoughts, viewpoint on the basic problem of aesthetics, popular culture critiques, modern art aesthetic concept, the influence of aesthetics theory and its existing flaws etc. It starts with the enlightening and negative dialectics which is the most important philosophical theory by Theodorv W. Adomo and introduces his most basic thoughts on philosophy and aesthetics, emphasizing on the discourse of his popular cultural concept, particularly the modern art aesthetic concept. With respect to the introductory remarks, it briefly introduces the status quo of the research on Adorno, the starting point of the article and social critics theory of Frankfurt school. Subsequently, it expounds his most basic philosophical thoughts and his view on common aesthetic problems. The article begins with popular culture featuring commercial materialism worship, applies Adorno's aesthetic viewpoints to prove the popular culture's attributes of the same nature, beguilement and manipulation, separately from criticism on culture industry with commercial nature, scientific technology and psychoanalysis theory. With respect to modern art aesthetic concept, which consists of five major points, expounding anti-art theory, the nature of modem art, main aesthetic specific property and the art's rescuing function one by one, which is mainly based on the central idea of Aesthetics Principle by Adorno. Lastly, it reviews the influence of Adomo Aesthetics theory and its existing flaws.The article thinks, it is promise philosophy and starting point of the aesthetic thought more that object to and deny societies. According to Adomo' views, the mass culture produced under the industry system is the capitalist and essential embodiment. Criticizing mass culture is to the capital and essential criticism. Having put this train of thought or his in order, we can understand modernism art of praise that why he will criticize mass culture and do one' most energetically.
