Different from his past features of "equisiteness and softness" in 1930s, Yu Pingbo's proses become " difficult to understand"day by day. Moreover, they seem to be getting closer to the classic culture both in style and adherence to the old value system. However, his shift towards tradition can't be simply defined as a renouncement to conterboirary literature and an adherence to the old value system.
