The Study Of Chinese Modern Drama's Poetic Spirit

Poetic spirit is one of the important aesthetical properties of Chinese modern drama. It existed and developed not only in the scripts of many modern playwrights including Tian Han , Guo Moruo, Cao YU, Xia Yan ,Wu Zuguang, Yu Ling but also on many play stages such as Nanguoshe . As can be seen from the present situation of Chinese drama, poetic still is one of the contemporary dramatists' aesthetical pursuits.Seeing the importance of china's modern drama's poetic spirit, we can conclude that it is urgent to understand the essence and the representation of poetic spirit, to make clear the historical process of how the property became and developed, and to evaluate its aesthetical and cultural significance and so on and so forth. Only by studying these questions, can people well know china's modern drama's past, present and future.The thesis consists of five parts: introduction, chapter I,II,III, and conclusion. It is trying to expound all the significant problems raised above.
