| There are two narrators and two different visual angle: One is the The flourishing of the American women literature, American black literature and American black woman literature makes the Chinese American literature develop in a way never existed before. It is believed that in the past 25 years Chinese American literature has been one that can not be ignored any more and it has made great contributions to the American pluralistic culture. Chinese American writers have contributed many works of excellence to the world, conveying their unique experiences so as to break the silence, recall the history, merge the past and the present, recognize the Chinese culture and the American culture. Tang ting-ting (Maxine Hong Kingston) is one of the representative and most influential among the Chinese American writers who emerged in the 1960s. Her works The Women Worrier, Chinese Men and The Tripmaster have achieved various literary prizes, which makes her famous among the American writers. Among the three works, The Women Worrier occupies an important place in the modern American literature and attracted enormous attentions. This article cites this book as a example to analyze the reasons why this book is so popular in America, particularly lay importance on the special expressing method Tang ting-ting used in this book, the using of many Chinese culture and the recreation of Chinese ancient story "Hua mu-lan", and use "misreading"to spread Chinese culture , reveal the differences and merge between China and America. With unique expressing method, The Woman Warrior represents the creation of the modern American literature. Using the first person "I" as the narrator, the author makes the pluralism possible. "I" jump beyond the range of the time and place difficult to surpass by traditional narration. There is a tension between the exterior narration and the "my" interior speaking which forms a plural vocal parts . The Woman Warrior is no longer a single story teller in sequence, but based on telling and retelling the known story, this book breaks the order of time and space and the linear mode, explains and reorganizes the content of the story. "New woman" representing Chinese male culture ---"mother", the other is "I" who is deeply influenced by the Chinese stories told by "mother" and merged into the American social culture; The narrating structure of The Woman Warrior shows a conversation technique. The narrator is always put into the story,words,and images told by mother, while Chinese culture and history are put into the fairy past. In this book, there exists a conversational cultural translation between the daughter and the mother, the daughter changes mother's narration into "self" narration, and the "self" actually is the unification of Chinese culture represented by mother and American culture represented by daughter; The Woman Warrior embodies the feature of feminism. There are no male in this book, and if sometimes it mentions male, it is obscure. Chinese culture belongs to eastern while American culture belongs to western, they are two completely different cultural system. So there remain conflicts between Chinese American youth representing American cultural value and Chinese parents representing Chinese cultural value, and it is unavoidable that there are a lot of conflicts in the family combined by Chinese and American. In a way, the factors of both sides are permeated and merged each other. Chinese American people, born in the United State, are imperceptibly influenced by what they see and hear and know much more than their native culture, so they naturally tend to accept the concept of American culture and value. Only after they run into a stonewall can they understand that even they hold the same concept with the dominant culture, they are still treated as "the other".
