Norhern Zhou's conquering Norther Qi was a big thing in the history of Northern reigns.It was the beginning of the turning from Wei Tsui Southern and Northern dynasties to Sui and Tang.The reasons of Northern Zhou's conquering Northern Qi has attracted many historians' interests.The thesis is different from traditional points and think adopting Legalists politics is the main reasons of Northen Zhou's success.The thesis consits of preface, the main body, conclusion and the references.In preface, the author points out the importance of this problem, other historians' points and come up with his own point.The main body is composed of five sections. Section one analyses the Legalists . thoughts involes in six empeor's orders. Section two expounds the Legalists thoughts in Northern Zhou's officals systems, involves three aspects: appointing officials, the thoughts of selecting officoial and adopting Zhou Li. Section three expounds the militarism of Northern Zhou. Section five analyses Wu Di of Northern Zhou who embodies the Legalists politics in many sides. Section five analyes the reasons of Northern Zhou's success adoption Legalists are its fitting in the military rulers coming from northern borders and the northewest's Legalists traidions .The conclusion is that Northen Zhou has adopted Legalists. It is the main reason of Northern Zhou conquering Northern Qi.
