JIUGE(《九歌》) is always the focus of academic research ,and people studied many facets of JIUGE ,but the relationship between JIUGE and the ritual of witchery fete is less discussed ,so the author select this title .There is a simple introduction about JIUGE in the article ,including its resource ,canto, sacrificing Jin and so on .The fete in JIUGE is the fete of the king, so it is deemed as national fete of CHU ,and the sacrificing object is ancestor Jin .There are two reasons .The first is that DONGHUANGTAIYI(《东皇太一》) described the ritual of sacrificing ancestor ,because it described not only ceremony of sacrificing heaven but also ancestor Jin. The second is DONGJUN (《东君》) described the ceremony of sacrificing ancestor ,because the ancestor of CHU were sun. The seven Jin including xiangjun (《湘君》) xiangfuren (《湘夫人》) and so on are in order to help sacrifice the ancestor . Chu sacrificed their ancestor to get the protection ,and it can unite the tribe ,stabilize the society. The ritual of sacrificing ancestor can be divided into four parts. First, the king of CHU offered the sacrificial offerings to Jin, which can establish the intimacy between people and Jin .Second ,female witch must take a bath in order to eliminate the common. Sweet grass is the most important thing in the ritual of eliminating the common ,which can bring fortunate to people .So the female witch had a sweet grass bath so that can get rid of the common of herself and Jin will arrive. Third , witch sang and danced to enjoy Jin ,Fourth, witch tempted Jin through acting the love story even sexual love until Jin arrived. At last ,people sang and danced again to see Jin off, and the whole ritual was finished .
