The Proof Of The Rite Of The Di(禘)

The sacred rite of di(禘) is one of the important rites in shang and zhou(商@) dynasty. The rite was important to declare and strengthen the royal court's legal status , also important to stabilize the people . So , the rite of di(禘) had been existed for thousands of years in the ancient times . And ancient scholars referred the sacred rite of di(禘) as the best elements of the government administration.In the period of chunqiu(), the meaning of the rite was lost because it was burned out by the qinshihuang() . Since han() dynasty , many scholars began to research the meaning of the sacred rite of di(禘). But no one had given this rite a right definition.After combing tens of documents in the dynasty , and using the records in the Jiagu() and Jin(), I studied the problem and put forward my views about the sacred rite of di(禘). To study the the meaning of the rite of di(禘), we should put it into the concrete tune , combine the Jiagu() and Jin( ) with the data in ancient documents . Only using the method, we can make a scientific conclusion.
