Analysis Study On Scale Factor Of Basic Plastic

The paper focus on the scale of an object, and try to find a rule of plastic arts. In the paper, the author analyses the natural association among the scale, the shape and the function.It is one of the basic researches of plastic arts that we called "basic design". The main purpose of the "basic design" is try to tell the rule of plastic arts. So it is an important part of plastic education. Though this way, the students are training to be a designer. They could acquire the basic skills, the creative talent of design.The newest "basic design" research shows that to sculpting include five main factors: the form, the material, the structure, the skill and the scale (FMSSS). As we doing design works, we should find a balance among FMSSS.The paper lays particular stress on one of the five factors (FMSSS), that is the scale. According to our experience of design, we find that the scale is very important. The paper will find out the detailed meaning of the scale in plastic arts; and tell the relation between scale and other factors; and tell the relation among the scale, the shape and the function.To study on the scale factor, we should think from several different aspects, such as optical since, psychology, metrology, material since, physics, aesthetics and so on.For the first time we study the plastic arts by systems analysis of the scale in the "basic design" field. There must be some points left out. I hope the paper will improve us to understand the rule of plastic arts, and give more effectiveness to the basic plastic education.
