| The chorus course is a required course for music teaching major students in normal universities. Chorus course plays a more and more important role in our music education, which requires further development of chorus course. The curriculum design of chorus course is significant to chorus teaching. This dissertation discusses the chorus syllabus design in normal universities from three aspects. The details are as follows. Chapter one: preface. Writing background and motivation are explained in this chapter. Through the social investigation into the chorus teaching and chorus conducting in normal universities, it is found out that our present chorus teaching system can not follow the development of music education and the steps of the educational reform, and can not meet the need of present chorus education and the need of society. Therefore, the chorus curriculum design is critical to chorus education in normal universities. Chapter two: body part. The author explains the chorus curriculum design from six aspects. First, make a clear direction from the aim of chorus education. Second, design the chorus course strategies including the design of teaching materials, teaching methods and teaching circumstances. Third, media tools are introduced to chorus teaching, by which charts and teaching materials can be showed. Four, chorus-teaching procession including the design of chorus teaching syllabus, the design of teaching process chart and statement. Five, the design of the evaluation of chorus course teaching. Form a plan which can reflect the multiple abilities of students. Six, the show and analysis of certain chorus syllabus design. Illustrate the previous five points with examples. Chapter three: conclusion. In this chapter the author comes to the conclusion of chorus curriculum design in normal universities and the reflection to some of the problems. Several suggestions are given to the popularization of chorus in universities. In a word, chorus curriculum design is a dynamic process. It should be improved as the continuous development of the science of education. While, when it is carried out in specific teaching, it will be constrained by some factors. The problems should be dealt with separately. |
