This paper examines the influences of Depth of word knowledge, Part-of-speech, and Proficiency level on Word Association Test for Euro-American Chinese Learners. The purpose of this paper is to find out the representative structure for words with different depth, part-of-speech in the mental lexicon of learners with different proficiency level. The paradigm of Word Association Test is adopted and two-character words with different depth and part-of-speech are used as prompt words. The response types are discussed as dependent variables. The results suggest that the Depth of word knowledge. Part-of-speech and Proficiency level will influence the words in the mental lexicon in the way of representation and connection. The way of representation and connection also differs between learners with different proficiency level.
