"Anti Old Morality, Upon New Morality" is an important aspect of May Fourth New Cultural Movement. Based on the concept of " Building Man", the moral transformation is one of the major concerns of New Literature, which puts "Man's Literature" as its theme. The first part is the introduction. It mainly reviews the criticism of the old morality and the construction of new morality by May Fourth pioneers (Lu Xun, Zhou Zuoren and Hu Shi)who maintain the moral transformation and makes a summary of their theoretical contributions: man-centered; children-centered; woman-centered. The second part is mainly concerned with those problems they faced in the cultural transformation, especially in morality and their standpoint, point of view and choice through a study of the fictional creation by Feng Yuanjun, Lu Yin, Ling Shuhua and Bing Xin in this period. This part also makes a research of their thinking and feeling of various moral problems.
