Compilatory Theory And Practice About 《Dictionary Of Songsand Ballads In Han Style Classical Poetries》

The folk songs and ballads in the Han style have profound historical significance to Chinese development, not because they stem from the people, but also because they are typical of spoken language and also are the records of folk language of Han Dynasty. The author sums up the former research achievements of classical poetries in the Han Dynasty in the paper, and also compiles a dictionary for the research, which, furnishes a convenient terrace for the study and the comprehension of language used in Han Dynasty, provides basis for the future study of Chinese lexical development, fills in the gaps in the fields of lexicography study of 《Poetry Anthology of Yue Fu》, lays a foundation for the dynastic dictionaries and for the historic dictionaries of ancient and modern evolvement.In the aspect of dictionary, the author puts emphasis on the assurance of the meaning of words. To begin with the analysis of language phenomenon, the paper includes the whole folk songs and ballads in the Han style except the two more complexity in tone and words. In chapter Ⅰ, the author not only stresses the history value and position of 《Poetry Anthology of Yue Fu》 , also presents her research scope, methods, steps and the detailed origin of the materials used in her paper.
