The Study On Jia Yi' Sin Shu

As a famous thinker,political commentator and writer in early times of the western Han Dynasty, Jia yi composed quite a few essays and pieces of fu. And his works has a long effect in literary history of China. Especially, his essays were praised as "grate literary creation of the western Han Dynasty " by Mr. Lu Sun and on behalf of the artistic style of the beginning of Han Dynasty. The article centering around Jia yi's Sin shu, based on the reviewers of the older generations and the present age, I made every effort to explore more deeply Jia yi's Sin shu about its thoughts and artistic style full of enthusiasm and strategies for country in the special turning period of the beginning of Han. At the same time, briefly analyzed the cause of Sin shu's creation. The article is made up of three sections. The first part: Exploring the main thought and intension in Sin shu .Jia yi had not only the vision of a historian, but the temperament as a statesman. Therefore, his essays have lots of thought and comment, concerning historical and realistic things. The article starts the discussion from four aspects. (1) Explaining the thoughts of Confucians by Taoists'. (2) Judging the hour and size up the situation, advocating the policy of benevolence and ceremony. (3) The artistic opinion of aiming at teaching for politics and using. (4) The view of education of earlier teaching and choosing the left and right sides seriously. The second part: Exploring the artistic characteristics presented in Jia yi's Sin shu. Jia yi's essays style was affected by pre-Qin especially the warring states period. In the meanwhile, Jia yi lived in the combination period of various cultures, so his works presents his style and characteristics himself. This part launches in a discussion from three respects. (1) Varied literary forms, definite expression, presenting various artistic style and features. (2) Rigorous structure, abundant demonstration, owning extensive appearance. (3) Simple language with rich and bright colors, paying attention to rhetoric, holding touching artistic force. The third part: analyzing the cause of Sin shu's creation. The creation of Jia yi'Sin shu had been affected by both former dynasty and the present politics and culture, and had something to do with the composing part as well. The discussion for cause is divided into four aspects. (1) The culture atmosphere and culture policy at the beginning of Han Dynasty. (2) The realistic need for politics of the beginning of Han Dynasty. (3) The court official's character in the writer itself. (4) The accepting main part----the emperor of his political heart.
