In this article, we discussed two questions. Firstly, we introduced the important assumption-local independence assumption and demonstrated the importance of local independence assumption. At same time, we also introduced five methods that check local independence in global test, item cluster and item group. The methods includes: LR Method, Q1 Method, Q2 Method, Q3 Method, MH Method. After comparing of five methods, we found the most appropriate method in our research. Secondly, we applied these different methods to check the HSK (Elementary & Intermediate) test to see which items are in the best or worst goodness fit.
