The novels that Ding Ling created in 1930-1948 presents the style and features different from early works. It is shown a contradiction state that two discourses of enlighten and revolution infiltrate each other. From the standpoint of narratology, this dissertation attempts to explain Ding Ling's novels inherent transition. Thereby, we can seek the development trend of modern writers in the transformation period. At the later stage of the twenties in the 20th century, as revolution becomes main tide of the times, "revolutionary literature" replaces "literature revolution", and correspondingly revolutionary discourse occupies leading status to replace enlighten discourse too. Meanwhile, both Hunan culture molding Ding Ling's individual character and the early Communists' influence in political ideology makes her choose revolutionary literature finally. The role's conversion results in drastic conflict between enlighten discourse and revolutionary discourse. It discusses not only revolutionary will and emotion desire's sharply conflicting, which it even adopts absolutism to suppress enlighten consciousness, but also the criticism of feudalism-sexism in revolution troop. As a result, revolutionary consciousness embarrasses enlighten aspirations, and make the marginalisation of enlighten.Such fierce confrontation does not mean that two discourses are simple duality relations, but a kind of contradiction deadlock. Though the subjects of two discourses are different, the torchbearer and revolutionary always appear at the same time in the novel narration. They carry on the potential dialogue in the spirit and revolution aspect. Through condemning feudalism and constraining personal love desire, this kind of dialogue offers a complicated artistic world. But the potential dialogue constraints literature aesthetic, Ding Ling's novels leaves the shortcomings at the same time.
