| Along with the spread of mobile phone, SMS becomes more and more important in people's life. It is necessary to do research on SMS accordingly. The author wants to try to distribute to study SMS completely and deeply. The text has five parts: the type of SMS; the character of SMS's language; studying SMS's language in culture; analyzing the psychology of SMS's prevalence; SMS's impact on social norm.Firstly, based on the different content, we divide SMS into five parts: affective short messages; humorous short messages; the short messages of life experience; the short messages of business service and the short messages of business ad.Secondly, we analyze the language character of SMS in the direction of language application, and make it into two parts .The first part discusses mostly the art style of SMS. Its art style takes on diversification. Some are humorous, some are serious, some are brief, some are heavy and complicated, some are connotation, some are earthliness, some are gentle and graceful ;the second part discusses mostly the rhetoric means of SMS.There are a large number of figure of speech in SMS, for example, chendie, parallelism, exaggeration, comparison, assimilation, and so on.Thirdly, in allusion to the former viewpoint "SMS pushes folk-custom culture flourish", we point out that the main culture phenomena in SMS are folk-custom culture and classic culture together at first. And then we analyze concretely the different culture phenomena in the different type of SMS. Affective short messages embody the Chinese tradition of regarding emotion and courtesy highly. The amusement short messages embody Chinese psychosis of optimism. The short messages of life experience embody Chinese thinking mode of sudden appreciation by intuition. The short messages of business service embody a new ad. culture along with mobile dissemination and short message's open. The short messages of business ad. embody a new business culture, too.Fourthly, we analyze the reason that SMS prevails. There are four reasons: it meets the need that the youth seek novelty and fashion; it meets the need of their longing for freedom and independence; it meets the need of affect ional communion; and it also meets the need of pressure release.Finally, we discuss SMS's impact on language norm, folk custom, moral norm and law norm, and then we advance some advices about how to normalize SMS. |
