| The language has been studied by all sorts of subjects since ancient times as the tool of the human thought and tool of communication. If we mention the contribution done toward linguistics, we have to mention a person who is among of a generation of linguistic masters—Saussure. He has advanced a lot of relations in his linguistic theory, among them there is a couple of relation that is very important, can be signification and signal.Saussure puts forward the signification and signal on linguistics of the language, but he hasn't involved linguistics of the speech, he proved that the combination of two is arbitrary. And the speech is regarded as the concrete form of expression of language, so we think that the combination of signification and signal of speech is arbitrary too. If we mention the speech, we have to mention the question of speech and meaning, it is more complicated. Our spoken Chinese involves the speech and meaning, so spoken teaching can't be ignored in our teaching of Chinese to foreigners. Especially the spoken teaching at advanced stage, it is very important, but now the effect of teaching isn't like as we hope to achieve. So this article attempts to use the theory of signification and signal, analyses the phenomenon of the speech of the advanced spoken Chinese textbooks, we hope to help the teaching.The article divides into two parts:Introduction at first, it summarizes the study of the subject from background, purpose and reason, states the theory and method that the article uses at the same time, sketches the content of the article.First part, this chapter states the theory of signification and signal, introduces the development of the theory, and analyses the signification and signal of speech.Second part, this article chapter mainly discusses the characteristics of expression of spoken Chinese (section one); States the goal, content of the teaching of spoken and the characteristics of advanced stage for teaching (section two); Analyses the phenomenon about signification and signal in the spoken textbooks at advanced stage (section three), this section is most important among the sections.Finally, the end of this article makes a briefer classification to the cultural factor that contained analysed material, then generalizes the whole article. |
