On Historical Interpretation Of The Public Canteens In The Villages During The Great Leap Forward Movement

The public canteens in the villages were the important part and accompaniments during the Great Leap Forward and the People Communization Movement, which once changed the traditional lifestyle of the Chinese peasants as a newborn thing. In the summer of 1958, The public canteens quickly flourished and quickly dismissed in the summer of 1961. So to speak, they went through a zigzag course for four years. The thesis which taking XUSHUI county as a typical model, through the comparative depiction and the sociological analysis to some problems in the winded development in the public canteens ,will probe the relevant interpretation to explore the social value and significance which secluded in the public canteens and the complex interactive relationship. It is hoping to be of benefit to the construction of the civilized and harmonious society in the contemporary China.
