| In recent years, many scholars believe that it is not an all-sided view to study the Central Plains' culture with the focus on its influence on the peripheral areas only. It is expected to categorize the Central Plains' culture within the regional culture system, in which different parts share the interaction and harmony. Therefore, it is advisable to study one regional culture with the background of the overall national culture.Nanzhao was once a minority regime which located in the frontier of Southwest China. It had coexisted with Tang Dynasty for more than two hundred years, during which both sides underwent the peaceful coexistence and suffered from the hostility in wartime. This paper contributes to explore the relique of Tianbao Battle in literary works through the comparison between the Nanzhao Dehua Inscription and the Tang poetry which depicted the war by Li Bai and Du Fu and reflected their struggle in soul of. With the philosophical studies of ancient inscriptions, tombs and ancestral temple of Li Mi constructed in Ming Dynasty, the elegance and splendor of Tang poetry, during the unification of the Chinese nation, has been demonstrated with sufficiency. |
