Study On The Adverbs In ZhanGuo Ce

ZhanGuo　Ce　is　a　significant　language　carrier　of　ancient　times,its　enriched　and　vivid　language　is　so　approaching　to　the　spoken　language　that　we　can　study　it　as　an　almost　perfect　document　for　Warring　States　Period's　history　and　language　characteristic.　However,　people　cast　much　greater　attention　on　researching　its　literary　value　than　its　grammar　perspective　for　a　long　time.　The　quantity　of　adverb　is　the　most　one　in　that　of　all　the　Chinese　function　words　and　it　is　an　extremely　internal　imbalanced　category.　The　study　on　the　adverbs　in　Chinese　ancient　times　is　an　important　respect　of　Chinese　grammar　research.　This　article　chooses　ZhanGuo　Ce　as　the　language　material,　attempting　to　explore　its　value　in　the　history　of　Chinese　and　establishing　the　foundation　for　the　establishment　of　adverbial　system　of　ancient　times　Chinese　through　analyzing　its　adverbial　system.　　　　　This　article　is　mainly　divided　into　three　major　parts:　　　　　Part　I:Foreword,including　three　parts.　First,the　brief　introduc-　tion　of　ZhanGuo　Ce.　Second,　introducing　the　Chinese　adverbial　definition,　the　adverbial　grammar　characteristic,　the　difference　between　adverb　and　the　other　relative　part　of　speech,　the　adverbial　classifying　method,and　the　research　situation　of　adverb.This　article　provides　the　standard　of　judging　adverb,　namely:　The　adverb　is　the　word　modifying ,limiting,　supplementing　or　explaining　the　predicate　in　the　sentence.And　divides　the　adverbs　into　six　parts:　Degree　adverb,Scope　adverb,Time　adverb,Manner　adverb,Negative　adverb　and　Expression　adverb　in　term　of　the　meaning　of　adverb.　Third,　putting　forward　the　goal　and　the　method　of　research　considering　this　article.　Part　II:The　analysis　of　ZhanGuo　Ce's　abverbs.Identifying　the　128　adverb　according　to　the　classfying　standard　offered　in　the　part　I,classfying　the　adverbs　of　ZhanGuo　Ce　and　establishing　ZhanGuo　Ce's　adverbs　system　in　the　light　of　classifying　method　proposed　above.　This　part　mainly　probes　and　analyzes　the　adverbs　of　ZhanGuo　Ce　concretely　and　comprehensively　by　using...
