The event of S ARS drew our attention, once again, to our existential circumstance as well as the world around us. Meanwhile, Albert Camus, this great name has been put forward in front of us again and we have been greatly inspired by his existential philosophy. This essay will start with the origin of the dualistic theory, and then discuss the theme and arts style of his novels. Camus was born in his paradox situation. He was a French living in Algeria. So he had two different cultural characters, which influenced his creation of novel. He was always lost in the opposing ideas, such as absurdness and resistance, sorrow and happiness, individual and collectivity, desperation and hope, resistance and abstention, banishment and kingdom. This series of dualism, which shows the ever-changing and confusion of the world, gives the authors a lot of imagination. In his writing style, Camus still chose opposing method. The changeful language style, the contradictory of sunshine and shadow shows his expressive force. In front of the ever-lasting paradox in the world, Camus didn't make a choice, but looked for the balance, that is, the dignity and friendship. Only with these, which is the deep moral in Camus's works, people are close to happiness.
